Susanna Danner

Sus joined Western Rivers Conservancy as California Project Manager in 2022. She has 20 years of experience conserving land and water in California and Idaho. Sus previously served as Land Conservation Program Director for Eastern Sierra Land Trust in eastern California and western Nevada, and Director of Protection for The Nature Conservancy in Idaho, where she was a founder of the Idaho Coalition of Land Trusts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and environmental studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. When she is not conserving land, she enjoys flyfishing along the Sierran escarpment, painting watercolors, botanizing, and hiking with her dog, Antilocapra.
