Western Rivers Conservancy proud to sponsor the 25th annual Salmon Festival on the Sandy River

Photo by Rick Hiser.The Salmon Festival celebrates the return of the mighty Chinook salmon to the Sandy River with a variety of family activities set in the ancient forest of Oxbow Regional Park. Western Rivers Conservancy staff will be on hand to talk about our project to conserve 17 miles of the Sandy and Little Sandy Rivers.

When: Oct. 11-12, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Oxbow Regional Park, eight miles east of Gresham in the Sandy River Gorge. From I-84, take the Troutdale exit (17). Turn right on 257, go three miles to Division Street. Turn left on Division. Follow the signs 6.5 miles to the park.
