Goose Creek, Smith River Watershed - One of Western Rivers Conservancy's top priorities is the Smith River on California's northern coast, which is considered to be the finest river ecosystem in the state. Big Chico Creek - Western Rivers Conservancy helped create a magnificent new nature preserve in the Sierra Nevada foothills just east of the city of Chico.
